Abstract: This poster, to be used in grades 5 to 12, shows typical incomes covering over two hundred occupations from data that are compiled from sixty one thousand interviews taken from 1992 to 1994 and converted to 1995 expectations. Workers in the United States, including both citizens and aliens and excluding the military, homeless, and the institutionalized, are included in the surveys. The data are based on reports from the United States government, associations, and research reports, some of whom are noted in the report. Estimable information from the poster includes the most common occupations, range of earnings, worker turnover, percent of women in the occupation, median pay for men and for women, and percent of workers who are part time.
